Suitable laptop for college

    This September I'm hoping to start college in NUIG. I've been looking at a few laptops but I'm so confused for which one to get. Some advice would be really appreciated for what would be best for college work and just for me to have for my own stuff too. I was hoping for somethin like
    -13.3 inches (ultrabook)
    -intel pentiumD/core2duo/coreI5/I7 etc.
    -decent battery life
    -atleast 150gb drive space
    -atleast 1.5gb ddr3 ram
    -atleast 250mb dedicated video ram
    -cd drive if possible
    i would pay up to €500 for it

    amd a6 quad core ,don't buy intel dual core for almost same price ,and it is below 500e..

    Sounds like you want to do some light gaming. As the poster above indicates, an AMD powered laptop might be the way to go, something like this:
