I'm looking into getting a front loader for my 2wd 390t. Just wondering if someone might know the best options. I've never had a front loader on a tractor of my own before, so I'm a bit of a novice when it comes to brands, spec etc. any information would be greatly appreciated.

Can only say what we have,a 390 4wd this past 10years matched with, from near new with chilliton mx40-70.and its been fantastic.
It's still called on even tho have handler. Loader would always be clicked off todo small jobs, spray etc and its real handy.2mins I'd have it off.

A few probes in the mach quick release box only thing last year needed attention.abit of searching and phoning to get them,as there's a new quick release box or something, but sorted in end once we knew.

think chilliton is now called Mailleux or via versa or one makes the other cant remember..

You won't know how you lived without one when you have it.

We have a 4wd 390T and put a front loader on it when we got it. Only problem is, its a loader built by some chancer, (ie its not a tried and tested make) it cost about three grand, can't borrow other peoples loader attachments if we need too, is very difficult to put on if you take it off, (other loaders are probably not too bad) and doesn't have a hydraulic connection.

Other than that though its grand.

If I were you I would make sure to get one with a hydraulic connection, as I think its a fairly big disadvantage not to have one.

Also when you do get one watch it carefully as its so easy for it to hit the gutter/ side of a shed, and electricity wires. (Never did either but came fairly close)

Have a Rossmore. Very good strong loader. Wouldn't part with it for anything.

And they're made in Cashel so if you have any problems they're only too happy to help.

I think ya should look at massey front end loaders I think their the same as quickie the (875 894 ect) are quickie and are good and strong and don't obstruct the view too much. They also look good being same colour too.

    Hi all
Has anyone an MF 880 or 880s loader on their 390? What do yea know about them. Or has aonone an 875 or 815 loader on 390? Im looking at stacking bales of silage on my 390 4wd. When i pric a secondhand loader they all seem to be loader and brackest but no bucket or fork etc?
Guess if it doesnt have its own power pack i will use the spool valves i have. Also im a little confused about the loader spools, You have up and down and in and out so to speak, So say i use a grab with it how do i work that? ( I have 3 sets of spools) . Thanks
