Never mind the ducks, trade them for my wild geese, dogs have great fun rising them:D

Heard the cuckoo there yesterday (27 April). I wonder is that a good or bad omen for the weather.:D

    The cuckoo comes in April,
He sings his song in May,
In June he has another note,
    In July he flies away.

Heard him the week before Easter here around the 15th. I can't recall ever having heard the cuckoo that early before.

I heard a cuckoo here this evening, haven't heard it for years.

Strange when your walking with little background noise, you'll hear her clearly.
OH was in car beside me yesterday & couldn't hear. Told me I must be cuckoo

Loads of Cuckoos hanging about my place in North Mayo ATM. Certainly seem to have brought the good weather with them this year.
