hello all, just looking for clarification on a personal injury matter. i was involved in a serious workplace accident on the evening of the 8th of may in which i was hospitalized, operated on and discharged the following day, and left with permanent disfigurement. on leaving the workplace directly after the incident up until 2pm on the 10th of may i received absolutely NO communication from my employers, nor did the hospital. the only reason i received communication on the 10th was because i rang them to see where i stood in relation to sick pay etc, i find this shocking and i am wondering if there is there a legal reason they would not contact me??!! thanks for any replies

Possibly don't want to say anything that could be seen as admitting liability, but then they spoke to you when you rang them so I think it's just a case of poor management or simply that they didn't know you were out.

    Contact a solicitor IMHO.
