Moving to Dundalk!

    Having to move to dundalk for work soon :eek: ....just wondering were the best areas are to rent a room are(im not dissing run down areas r certen people..just want somewere safe and nice)...my price range is around 300 euro a month

    Contact the local letting agents - the town is full of them. Then visit the areas available to your budget. To discuss good and bad areas here is inflammatory and will never get agreement.

    Safe and quiet areas would include old Muirhevna, Belfry gardens, priorland grove, Lis na Dara etc. Take a look through a few threads in the louth forums for some pointers. Take a look at the local papers the Democrat and the Argus and you will get a good idea of where is good and bad in the town. Be aware that some of the estates around the college are a nightmare to live in during college terms due to students effectively running wild and getting away with it
