    Hey,
I'm a secondary teacher living and teaching abroad. I have an interview for a prmary school this week. I've never though primary, so I was wondering if anyone would have any links to information on primary teaching, particularly with regard to phonics and other such methods.

    Thanks.

www.ncca.ie To be honest, if you are not a qualified primary teacher, I'd not hold out too much hope. If the school has a website many policies/plans could be on it. How is your Irish -you can expect a few questions in Irish. Are you au fait with special needs, differentiation, planning and assessment?

Thanks for that. I'm going for an interview abroad so hopefully won't need the Irish!

Apologies, I mis-read your post, that you were abroad and going for a job here. What age group and what country?
