Shure M44-7 for House/Techno

Hi. I picked up a pair of Shure M44-7's a while back to go with my my Traktor Scratch set up. They were the best reviewed of what I could afford. But apparently they're not recommended for house/techno because of the gritty mid-range. Obviously that's been a non-issue with Traktor, but now that I'm gonna start investing in some vinyls it might be a problem. I guess my question is how noticeable is it? Is it worth switching to something else? Bear in mind that I'm only messing about at home.

You won't notice it at all really don't worry, you'd only really want to change if you were ripping your collection to mp3, and you wanted to get the perfect sound, but without great monitors and super mint condition records really there won't be that big of a problem
