Have a think about what sort of things you want to do and why.

Then google it for activities in Sligo or post up again on here.

If I was to make a random guess about you I'd say learn to surf, but I could also say hang around in Paddy Powers all day and you'll eventually make a few mates.

Think it's a bad time of the year, everything's winding up for the summer! Not much around at the minute

To have a social life, you would normally need to make associations and friendships with people by participation within some sort of context, be it work, study, parenting, sporting or other interests.

We aint got much to go on, but isnt this the time of year when Tag Rugby starts off again?

Maybe give volunteering a shot. Its very enjoyable and also you meet some great people. Contact Sligo Volunteering or look at the website to see if anything interests you. They are the nicest people you'll meet down there and are very helpful!Heres a link http://www.volunteersligo.ie/

Become a scout leader... we are (countrywide) always looking for new volunteers and it is very rewarding both on personal level and for the community! :)

+1 on the Tag Rugby, it's meant to be great craic, both on the pitch and in the pub after! It only started last week and there's some matches going on tomorrow so you should go out for a look and get chatting to a few people. Here's a link to their facebook page; https://www.facebook.com/sligotag
