UL down for first choice for next year but I live in Donegal and I've heard talk about 13 hour bus trips due to changovers etc :o but according to google it only takes 4 hours and 20 mins. I could handle that. Is there any bus that does a direct route? Prices would be great too :P

There are usually private buses that come from Donegal, Mayo etc, down on a Sunday evening and back on Friday afternoon, but I've no idea what the name of the company is!

If you had to use Bus Eireann you could get the 64 to Galway then the X51, I'd imagine it would take about 6 hours at least.
