How do attach or link to a small (1/2MB) sound file,MP3?

Am posting on Language forum and want to add a small sample of a Spanish recording -1/2 MB. Seems not to be so straightforward. I think I may have to use some outside server to do this. Any directions,please.

You can't attach .mp3's with the attachment option, only the filetypes it lists can be used. So, yes, you'll need to host it somewhere external.
