x-trail opinions?

    after the thread i posted about mazda6 as a bangernomics motor, the boss has decided she doesn't like them...... anyhoo she's spotted a few nissan x-trails that she likes the look of, a bit of googling throws up the odd problem on the diesels of turbo failure, the petrols not much pops up at all. will go for a petrol as we don't do enough mileage for a diesel.

    If you're happy with petrol then a Forester will be nicer in every way.

    You would be better off imo with a Honda CRV or Toyota Rav4 over an X-Trail of that vintage.

    Because the X-Trail is terrible to drive on tarmac imo.
