Walkover - SCR?

    Hi All,

    Silly question but what does the following mean?

    Erins Own W/o, Carrickshock Scr

    W/O = Walkover

    SCR = ???? What does SCR mean?

    Normally if a team does not turn up it is written as...

    Erins Own W/O , Carrickshock Abs ( Absent)

    Scr would indicate Scratched...i.e. they have been taken out of that particular competition and no one else will play them.

    I think if you are Abs for 3 games you are automatically scratched from a competition.

    Not always. A lot of the time you will see SCR for teams that have pulled out of 1 game but are continuing to play in the competition in question
