Looking into this at the moment and need a bit of advice.

What questions should I be asking potential plumbers when getting quotes for the work

House will have UFH throughout more than likely geothermal heating, pressurised water system. There's also plumbing in the basement for a bathroom so ill need a macerator/grinder unit and pump for the waste.

    Any info will be appreciated

Firstly make sure they have thorough experience with references for all your requirements.
Don't be afraid to ask for references and to give them a call.
Ensure that they have public liability insurance, ask for a copy and phone the insurance company to make sure it is still valid.
Get several "detailed" quotes, remembering cheapest or dearest are not always best.
Discuss time frames, be realistic, with degrees of flexibilty on both sides.
Part payments upon completion of certain works.

Imo you need a plumber 'local' who has installed and serviced any equipment that is installed as too many times has the selfbuilder got companies who specialize in hp and then go boost with no back up service, ive yet to see any plumbers though in the towel.

Try thinking that 10 years time when the hp and ufh needs attention who can I call.

You just need to get a reputable specialist heat pump installation company, one that has years of experience with heat pumps and not everything under the sun,
Most importantly make sure the unit itself is of good quality, anything German or Austrian with very few exceptions,
There is nothing of quality from anywhere else that I've ever seen
