It is generally charged by the ton and expect to pay €8.00 - €9.50/ton

I got 4 loads of washed gravel last week for a percolation area and it is €280/20Tonne load or about €14 per tonne. 6 months ago it was €220/20Tonne load.

I got a price of €11.50 per ton including vat and delivered 6 miles from the site. I told a ton is approx half a m3.

Does this sound about right ??

That is a good price. The local supplier around my area drove all their prices up after Xmas last year by about 7% and the price of washed stone went through the roof for some strange reason:confused:??
