    Hi

I've been playing for a year or so and my handicap just got cut from 22 to 19. I've got a couple of gift vouchers and im not sure what club i should get in order to help me to make the next step in improving. I was thinking a 3 wood or hybrid for the longer stuff because my im pretty confident with my short game.

any suggestions as to what direction i should go?

also, any specific club i should be looking at?

    any input would be great

Hybrid, not only easier to hit they also perform much better in the rough when compared to a wood. Best to get a lend of one and try out to see if they suit you.

I have the Wilson fat shafts for 12 years now and I find them great! I recently put a Wilson 3 hybrid in my bag and I don't use my 5 wood anymore or my 3 iron I can hit it 180-210 yards and it covers most long second shots and very forgiving!

But one club isn't going to dramatically change your game! Look to your short game, this is ye area that will help u reduce your handicap! When you can consistently get up and down u will see that handicap drop like lightning!!!

    Hope that helps!

Now that you got cut, you can spend a bit of cash on looking fabulous:rolleyes: on the golf course!!

If you don't have a gps/laser, get one!
