We booked the Odeon cinema Waterford y'day (Wednesday) for a family of 4 and it cost only 4 euro. Seems to be on offer next wed too. They're advertising that all tickets on Wed are a fiver but don't seem to be highlighting the family ticket offer so not sure if it's a glitch in the system or what. There were only the 3 of us so someone in the queue got a free ticket ... not bad for 4 Euros! Just booked Star Trek for next wed.

    Not sure if nationwide.

Off topic : Why do people have to add an 'S' to Euro really does my head in.

    Further off topic:

    Old Habits I guess....
    Shillings
    Pounds
    Dollars
    Deutchmarks
    YoYos
    Snots
    etc.

    Was it punt or punts??

Anyway ... cinema tickets 4Euro. ... and where is the fecking euro sign on this internet thingy anyways cos ALTGr + 4 don't work in HTML and if it did I wouldn't be having this conversation.

Don't see a family ticket option online. Can you only book this from the boxoffice?

No, the family option is online ...under step 2 of the booking process ... for Waterford at least.

I just wonder if they would allow two adults entering with a family ticket without children?Anyone?

We did it last week, had no problems at all. The girl actually even asked did we want to sell our extra 2 tickets to someone else since we weren't using them!

No doubt they'll notice something fishy when tonnes of people do it next week having seeing this thread though!
