    2009 VW Golf Mark 1

South African made, wonder how solid it feels compared to say a 2009 MK6...
The Volkswagen Citi Golf was a car produced by Volkswagen in South Africa from 1984 until 21 August 2009. It was a face-lifted version of the original Volkswagen Golf Mk1 hatchback, which ceased production in Germany in 1983. The car was produced only with right-hand drive.

Saw a Nissan Laurel today on the quays. It was crying out for wider wheels and some spacers. Looked a lovely car otherwise, paint looked fresh

They weren't too terrible. Made for the bottom end of the market, so they make paddy spec seem luxurious.
