Where to go about Jaw pain

Hey, last october I had all my wisdom teeth removed after a few months of pain and about a month or two later I started experiencing a dull pain in the back of my jaw again on both sides near the joint. It's gotten slowly worse since but comes and goes every couple of days and pain killers don't work for it when it's really bad.

My dentist said she couldn't see anything and recommended I go to an orthodontist, which I did. He said that jaw pain could be caused by lot's of things but rarely has anything to do with the bite/teeth and in relation to orthodontics I had a consultaion with the Maxillofacial Surgeon and he said the same as the orthodontist.

I'm gonna make an appointment with the doctor in my college next week, has anyone any advice on where to go next?
