Freeview not decoding on ES5500

In the room next to me there is a Freeview box that is fully functional(in that it decodes all the British free to air channels). I placed an extension on the cable that feeds into this box and have ran it into my ES5500 that allegedly has a Freeview decoder built into it(for both UK and Ireland).

The only channels that are decoded are Saorview stations no matter what I do.

I have also changed the country settings to UK from the main control panel. Can anyone offer me any advice on how to get this running?

What is feeding the first room? Freeview is a terrestrial based system off an Aerial it is the british equivalent to our Saorview system.

Freesat is fed from a satellite dish and will need a decoder box to open the channels.

I believe it's some kinda antenna on the roof of the house. I am assuming that it is an aerial. I'm not at home now so I can't check the model of the receiver box that is working

Oh and I'm in Bray BTW
