2nd year accommodation??

Hi, was wondering whats a better place to live for a 2nd year student Glasan or Gleann an Ri. I live at home for first year so didnt get out much.. Both within walking distance. I want one where ill have a good time. Is glasan for expensive for a single room for yourself.Thanks :)
