    Hi All,

I have an old SKy+ HD box - to be specific its a Thomson dsi8215. The picture is perfect on it but the hard disk "ist kaputt meine freunden ".. I want to make sure it's just the hard disk as I know there is a few problems with the power supplies on these. I took mine apart and the power supply seems good so I'm hopeful it's just the disk!

Anyway I have an old 80gb disk which I wiped and want to use just to see if the pause and record functions will work before i fork out for a 300+gb drive! does anyone know if this is possible or is 80gb too small just for a test?

The EPG on this box is too old for anytime so i was figuring that wouldn't be an issue in terms of the size of the disk..

Many Thanks for your time and info
    Cheers
    MC
