    Where in town would be the best place to convert £115 to €.

    Don't want to be paying huge commission !

    You could try the credit union or the post office.

    Dunnes Stores. They don't charge a commission. Or didn't used to until recently.

    If you're a student or OAP the banks won't charge you commission. Or...if you KNOW a student or OAP you could send into the bank....
