What does anyone think of this - if i got these would it negate the purchase of the wireless extender i have been looking at? Set the two of these up for wireless internet - one in the front of the house and one in the back and it would cover the whole house plus a lot of garden? Any thoughts from anyone...looks like good…

5GHz band is designed for high speed over short distances. It has less range and penetration than 2.4GHz.

It's not a range extender, one unit acts as an access point and the other acts as a client/bridge.
