Nissan Almera N15 Heater/Blower Switch

    Hi all,
Can anyone tell me how to remove this switch / console? Have an older N15 almera for parts and want to swap these parts out. The heater / blower switch in my current Almera will only work on Level 4, so I want to swap the switch from the scraped Almera. Anyone know how to access it?

Also there seems to be a rattle in the right side of the dash, I believe it to be the fin or fins in the driver right heater vent above the light height adjustment and mirror switches, anyone know how to access this vent? Do you need to lift the top of the dashboard to access it?

Done this on my own N15 last year, the resistor is just behind the glovebox, can't remember if it has to be taken off or not, simple 10 minute job. All you have to replace is the resistor not the fan controls.

Thanks for your prompt reply! After posting the question (I figured because it worked on one setting it was the switch or console) however yourself, honestjohn and google told me otherwise! Thanks for your reply, I will give it a go, sure what's the worst that can happen....! Cheaper than what a mechanic will charge and have the spare parts from scraped Almera. thanks again.
