    Ladies Singles Competition in The Bridge Inn, Chapelizod on Sunday 9th June 2-30pm. 3x601 games Double Start. Entrance Fee 10 Euro. All players welcome. Prize fund 300 Euro guaranteed. For further information ring Bobby 086-3177914

    Some of the girls I have been talking to expressed concern at the proposed Double Start in this competition. So we will wait and see on the day what the consensus is and take it from there.

    Disappointing turnout. It would appear that ladies darts in Dublin is suffering from a severe dose of indifference. Despite the numbers some excellent darts were thrown on the day. Eventual deserving winner was the ever impressive Sharon O'Brien who defeated Liz Ingram in the final.

    Thinking of trying another ladies competition. However would need a significant increase in numbers. Any interested ladies out there?
