Compressed Air for Ipod Jack?

Hello all i like many other people have had this problem with my ipod, the sound only comes out one headphone and no its not the headphones its the jack! ive tried the cotton swob trick it did actually work but only for like a day then back to only playing out one ear again .I heard compressed air is good for getting dust out of the jack? its my only real hope as im not going to pay ridiculous prices to get a new jack installed. But where can i get a can of compressed air? Someone told be tesco but i dnt know. has anyone tried this technique or any other ways of fixing this problem? thanks

I've found compressed air extremely difficult to come buy in ireland, and when you do find it it's usually fairly expensive.


Also, I wouldn't be too confident that dust is the cause of your headphone jack problem
