How do I go about moving in with my partner?

Im am currently on one-parent family but im with my partner just over a year and where expecting a baby in oct , he is on jobseekers at the moment but hopefully not for long , we want to move in together but will he be aloud by socoal welfare and how do we go about this and what happens

For the purposes of your landlords, whoever is moving out needs to give their current landlord (if appropriate) the require amount of notice. The landlord of whoever is staying needs to explain to them what is happening. I imagine most landlords won't have a problem.

You will need to talk to the Department of Social Protection regarding one-parent family and whatever payment your partner receives.

You will need to register for child benefit.
