Oil for John Deere ride on

    Got myself a new ride on mulcher this year, great job so far. Was giving it a little service yesterday and needs a drop of oil but what oil would it take? Stupid question I know, checked the manual and it just said sae oil and other John Deere recommended oils, just want to know what type of oil to buy if some one has any idea?

    It will more than likely be SAE 30 lawnmower oil. Any lawnmower shop will have it.
