    Cspe lol,

just wondering if many of you have finished cspe course, and can you throw up any notes if you have. we still haven't done law (biggest thing I think) and briefly covered everything else.

I'm fairly confident with the action project, just checking what people have done and if yis have any notes on it for the actual exam.

    Lol
My 9 year old brother can pass the exam
    It is so simple.
I cannot believe I did not get 100% in it but I got 90% so what the heck:)
You do not need to worry about it remember you already have 60% in the back(That is if your action project is upto a high standard)
But if you are worried here take this

I don't even think my class went half way through the course .. we just spend the classs having chats and colouring ^.^. I bet even my CSPE teacher copped on and realised it's possible to have a class get all A's without teaching a thing ;).

What course? I don't even know what's on the course, my teacher told us to know the politicians and know be able to explain the 7 concepts and that we'd be fine.

I love CSPE, I don't even study.. I still managed to get 93% in the mocks, I wish it was a LC subject. You just need to keep watching the news and familiriaze yourself with politicans and you will be grand!

Not as many people get As in CSPE as think they will. The project being 60% has a big effect if it's not done properly.
It's probably the only JC subject that many people are disappointed in - probably because it has this name of being a doss subject and everyone thinks they will get an A.

A higher percentage of people got A in Art last year than did in CSPE.

There were plans a few years ago to bring in a subject called 'Politics and Society' at LC level which CSPE, ESS and some other subjects would have fed into. The syllabus has been ready a few years, but then they started slashing education budgets all over the place, so that stopped that. If it was ever to be brought in, they would have to revamp the syllabus again.

Section I: This is the only section which actually requires FACTUAL knowledge, and is worth only 18 marks
Section II: Half of the marks are given to you for this section, the other half requires your own personal responses and opinions. Worth 42 marks
Section III: Again, your own personal responses and opinions are required. Also, make sure you know how to do a poster properly. Worth 20 marks

Also, being familiar with the Action Project is useful for Section II and III, because you may be asked questions like "You've decided to do this as your Action Project. Name TWO skills you used/Name THREE groups/committees etc."

Remember, the exam is only 40%, the other 60% is for the Action Project, and if you didn't do a lot of work for that, an A may be difficult/impossible to get
