Just bought Minecraft from Google Play

Now I need to remove the card from my sons tablet google account, but it is telling me... "The following orders will be affected by removing this credit card: Mojang AB - Minecraft - Pocket Edition" Do I really need to keep the card details on there?? What will be effected if I remove it?
