Is it safe to order clubs online from the UK?, as in, do they package the clubs properly so they wont get damaged on the way over.

    From places like onlinegolf.co.uk

All clubs are imported into Ireland I'd say so they all are properly packaged "on the way over" to arrive at Irish shops. I've purchased a lot from the US and UK and Ireland all all were well packed.

Is it worth it ? Ping g25 5-sw without discount is €750 with mcguirks, I see from the Uk you might save 70 euro on the same set

Personal decision really. Some people prefer the security of having a "bricks and mortar" store to go back to. I'd wager Mcguirks should be able to offer you a discount of at least €50 on a set of that value...

Without a doubt mcguirks will knock €70 off a €750 set of irons if it gets you to buy off them instead of the net.

Personally for that small saving in terms of the purchase I'd be getting them in the shop here in Ireland.

A friend of mine bought clubs recently and all the grips came loose after about 3 months. American golf regripped all his clubs no questions asked.

Any problems with buying online can be big drama if their is an issue.

Unless there was a huge saving I wouldn't bother but each to their own.

Depends what you are after - you can get some great deals online if you know what you're after - have bought a fair bit from Clubhouse Golf recently and the service was great

Just had a look and 5-PW in G25 is £379 from Clubhouse:

    That's a pretty huge saving....

Thanks for looking that up but it is 5-sw and Graphite Shafts that Mcguirks quoted - that is now £539 which those guys - which is €635 or so, Save about €65 euro, I am sure I could push McGuirks.

Anyway, I may wait and get a very good set on GolfBidder soon, I know my spec.
