Is it just me or does that annoy the hell out of you!

Was looking at 04+ cars and some have POA!

Personally I wouldn't even click on the adds if they cant have the decency to put up the bloody price.

    So why is it done??

    Rant over.....for now

"Price on application", even the concept of this being applied to a car gives me the distinct impression that buying the car will be a lot of hassle. Its not a bloody house.

The idea there is that when you call to ask how much it is your number might show up on his phone if you havent set it to private, he'll then call you every now and then with similar cars at similar prices chasing a sale. It's a very shady practice performed by the 'lesser' dealers and garages.
If the seller cant be transparent enough to put up a price on a car he's selling then dont waist any time calling.

I really think I prefer to buy private, No warranty but no hey how many garages stand by that!

Do they know the a good number of people ignore these ads?

Don't even enquire. They might get the message

What I do there is just set a minimum price filter of 1000. That removes them entirely

setting a minimum price at all gets rid of it, 1 euro for example.

Yea but anything for 1 euro would have me running too! :p (I've seen ads with that as well)

I was at a used car dealers and there was a car with no price in the window, I asked how much it was and the lad said "make me an offer". I'm not sure if he was hoping for a blowy or what so I went somewhere else.

I skip them usually. If they haven't a price up I always think that the price is going to be high
