Another weed ID?

I didn't want to hijack the other thread, but it reminded me to take a photo of a weed that is taking over my front garden bed. Started last year, and I left it, not knowing what it was and to be honest, it looked nice!

But it is taking over now so I need to get rid of it. Any ideas what it is and how to successfully remove it?

Did it have a yellow flower?

Thinking maybe its a Potentilla sp.?

Looks like silverweed but doesn't seem to have enough leaves - but any systemic weedkiller will get rid of it

Yes, yellow flower last Summer. Looked very well actually, hence the initial reluctance to get rid of it!
