    Hi,

Missus and I will be in the algarve for a week next month. Accommodation is sorted but we're looking for 2/3 rounds of golf. Anyone any idea what's the best/cheapest way to organize this? Also, anyone any experience of the various club hiring companies that operate out of Faro? Any good/bad experiences?

    TIA

Played Palmares golf club 3 times last July while staying in Praia Da Luz. Really enjoyed the course. It's a 27 hole course just outside of Lagos. Fantastic location with some links holes down by the sea but it's mainly a parkland course on the hills above the sea with spectacular views. We paid €130 for two including buggy. Booked directly with the course.
Also played Boavista which cost €110 for two including buggy. Unlike Palmares, a lot of the fairways are lined with housing.
personally, I would spend the extra €20 and play Palmares.

I brought my own clubs as we stayed for two weeks and it was cheaper than renting.
