I have this cactus for years and it has grown quite tall and thin. It's in a SW facing window so gets good light. Is this normal or is there something I can do for it?

Thinly veiled "look at my awesome cactus"!

    Nope definitely not

I asked the question because the cactus is starting to lean over, unable to hold itself upright. The base looks too thin to hold up such a tall thin cactus.
I was wondering if it should be thicker!
