    Marmox boards are the only type I've used. They're top quality and come in various thicknesses but they're a bit pricey. Good Tile shops can order these.

    Cheers, Just price that board there on the net and me thinks I'll just throw an extra log on the fire cause I would never ( in my own lifetime anyways ) see a return on the cost that insulation board would incur :(

    10-12mm is nothing worth talking about, and your dead right you would never see a return on your investment because
    very little heat is lost through the floor anyways as heat rises its lost through the roof windows and walls.
