    15.50 the curragh.

Really fancy THE FOX TULLY here.

Finished 7th in Tipp the last day which doesn't reflect how well he ran on ground that was too soft and a distance that was too far.

Traveled really strongly in the race and back over 1m 2f on drying ground really appeals.

    FFos Las 16:25:

I fancied Eleven-Fifty Nine the last time she ran but she drifted like a barge and ran accordingly. Was strongly supported last night from an opening show of 7/1 into a current 10/3(has been rule 4 deductions but still a strong market move), today could be the day for her as Honeyball's is usually a good stable to follow when the moneys down. No excuses today with track, trip and ground in her favor.

    3 for me today.

Open Water Windsor (has been heavily punted this morning).

Also going to go against  the bumper King WP Mullins & I'm backing Ebazziyr in the bumper at the Curragh (liked the way he came from near last to first to win fto).

Finally, Vitztoria in the 450 at the Curragh. She won well here last season & hope shes well above the rest of the field here. That completes my Bank holiday trixie

the in-form Beckett yard sends Moonstone Magic over for the Curragh 4.50. Happy to go with that one against the fav.

Just did a double for today

Viztoria 4.50 looked a smart filly last year, Lynam had a nice winner at Newmarket the other day so the stable are in form and I think she will progress into a Group 1 horse this year.

Concordin 5.50 ran a really nice race first time out and the form was boosted yesterday after Blow the Doors off who finished behind him won with plenty in hand at Sligo. This looks like a competitive affair but I think Concordin will have enough to see off his rivals.

Hasn't run for nearly a year.
Taking a lot on trust for 9/4.

    How did Camelot do?

    How did Camelot do?

Pushed out to win by about 2 lengths. Nothing exciting tbh.

Aidan O'Brien said Camelot was only 70% fit today, so it wasn't a poor performance by any means.

2 for me today that I put up LTO

4.00 Beverley Bling King 10/1 ran a very nice 3rd at Redcar LTO on his 2nd start back after a year off and the course that day was suiting those who were front ranked and he was the only one to make any inroads from off the pace. He races here off the same mark of 77 and he looks very well handicapped on his 2 year old form for Eve Johnson Houghton where he won off a mark of 92. With first time cheekpieces applied, I think 10s looks a very big price and it wouldn't surprise me at all if he was successful in this contest.

5.00 Beverley Stagweekend 20/1 is a horse who I definitely think is well handicapped off a mark of 62 and the handicapper has been rather lenient dropping him 3lb for his last run which I thought was full of promise. On his seasonal reappearance, Stagweekend was taken care of by Michael O'Connell as he came home to finish a 5L beaten 4th. He should come on a lot for that outing and with John Quinn in belting form I think he's much too big a price at 20/1.

Doesn't he often start horses off in that race (and a lot of them are under cooked)

Could be getting my races wrong but didn't Fame And Glory & St Nicholas Abbey get turned over at short prices in it?

Yeah you're spot on. St Nic was beaten last year by the pacemaker. I was probably being overly harsh in my first comment!

Price drifted like a barge, that's the advantage of waiting til the last minute I guess

Viztoria is a filly going places, won that with quite a bit in hand.

Viztoria makes it 9 winners for me today, Dreams of Glory at 5.45 for number 10 :pac:

I'd say he's sickened. Lynam could have the Irish 1000 Guineas winner on his hands, if she takes the step up to a mile well

I had every winner of every race. ****ing delighted.

Glad I actually didn't have a bet today, would have lost my left testicle and possibly the right one. Bank holiday madness.

My 2/1 on Concordin is looking good now, hopefully he does the business

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,285 ✭✭✭Oscars Well.

Made in Germany did that very well, Concordin just wasn't good enough. Some gamble on him before the off though, went off 11/8!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,451 ✭✭✭Overthelast

I don't know why I back against Mullins in bumpers. It's like going into a gun battle with a penknife.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,285 ✭✭✭Oscars Well.

I backed his bumper horse yesterday, got beaten. Backed against him today and he won. You can't win with that man!

Was Frankie Dettori riding work after racing today for Aidan O'Brien? Saw something about it on BF forum but no link to it

EDIT: He was, just seen it on RP website
