Evony Bot

So "a friend of mine" is playing evony and using what is called a bot. It basically plays the game for him when he is not playing. My 2 questions are as follows. 1, is this "bot" a virtual machine? 2, Is it purely load on the CPU or is it on the ram too? It seems to be slowing the PC right down. Need more info, just ask.…
