I need to order something from the states. Small electronic device.

Problem is that it is only available in the US and you can only ship to US postal addresses.

Has anyone ever used a service that provides a US address and mail forwarding from the states to Ireland? What service did you go with?

    Thanks.

;) Loads of posts about this. I use www.shipito.com which will send you photos of the package and contents if you wish. The Oregon address avoids sales tax in the US. Use USPS ( Its the cheapest anyway ) and you might just escape customs duty.

You could also post a link to the item and see if somebody does know or can find a EU seller, or contact the manufacturer and ask them. Or ask the seller if they will ship here, many US places tend to say "US only" when often they mean "english speaking customers only, who are not in countries with bad reputations for fraud etc"

;) Agree but you are adding one more level of bureaucracy and EU VAT rates.Postage within the US is remarkably cheap. However, if its an ebay seller its certainly worth asking them to post direct and I find some companies respond very well to a phone call.
