Back to education allowance , end date for summer ?

    Hi ,
    Just wondering does anyone know when the back to education stops for the Summer. I started on the scheme on September 9th , so does it run for 9 months straight or just stop at the end of May? Any info would be appreciated.

    You have to let them know when you're finished for the summer (ring them). They'll then send you out a letter with forms. You have to give them an exact date of when you finish (the day you finish exams) and when you're back in Sept. They'll then schedule a meeting so they can change you back to Job seekers/benefit allowance. You'll have to go to the post office once a week to collect your dole until you go back to college in Sept but you won't have to sign on over the summer.

    i got a form to fill out in the post, it says you have to fill out youe final exam date and if you are planning on going back in september.
