    Howarewe?

Im recently enough back cycling on a Jupiter Tuscan and while its grand for the daily exercise and that id love a racer. Now money is tight as a ducks ar..and im savin back up for another gluaisrothar too.

I was thinkin, the bike is graaand for what it is, would it be half an idea to convert the bars to drop bars and try get used to them for a while before im in the position to get a road/racer style bike. Lookin at parts there on donedeal, jsut dropbars, stems, etc, couldnt find any brake lever set ups but im gonna keep lookin.

Would it be worth the while doin this to the jupiter or just leave it off til im in the position to go the full hog?

Sound for any advice in advance!

Sell the bike you have, use that money to buy a second hand road bike.

Trying to convert that bike to drop bars would be a pointless exercise.

I'd second what Seaneh says - the gears / brakes are going to the most expensive part, even second hand you're looking at 75 - 100 Euros.
