I did the regional work in oz last year 92 days in a cotton gin. I left OZ to come home with my girlfriend at the time and we ended up splitting up. I felt sick for a while and decided I wasn't gonna go back. but now I am over all that and I have changed my mind. I haven't actually received the refund but taxback.com have.…

No you cannot tell them to give it back. But I think you can still apply for your 2nd year visa, as you are on a temporary visa.
