Im flying to toronto on Wednesday and I will be arriving there at 18.55(Brittish Airways). Im looking at booking a flight on and its at 20.45. Just wondering would this be enough time to collect my bags and check them in again for the next flight or would I be cutting it fine in that time line?

After checking in at Toronto airport you are going to have to clear security, so think you may be cutting it a little tight. Getting through security varies time wise throughout the day.
If your onward flight is with an airline that has an affiliation with British Airways, would it be possible to check bags through to your final destination, and maybe you to? (Not sure if this is possible)

I think so. You land at 18.55, it's not unreasonable to think it may be 19.20, or even 19.30, by the time you disembark and get your bag from baggage claim... and then get to the check in....

Depends on which terminal to be honest

BA arrives into Terminal 3 which is the better of 2 terminals there Terminal one is a nightmare when it comes to queues especially in the evenings. Dont forget you will have to clear passport control and customs

Bear in mind that's also referencing Air Canada -> Air Canada, where you would have your boarding pass etc already issued
