I was joined a club up to 2 years ago and finished on a handicap of 11.
If I was to rejoin or play society golf would I have to apply for a new handicap or do I start off 11?
    Thanks

You would have to resubmit 3 cards for a new handicap

As your handicap has lapsed, you would be required to submit 3 cards for handicap. Handicap committee would probably take previous handicap into account when issuing new handicap.

A society would give you 11 starting. No need for 3 cards Id say.

I thought your clubs was your handicap

No standard rules in socs. Some use Gui. But others want the power to change quicker to prevent 1 winner all year. Most would give you 11 review after 1 round. Most people in socs dont have a Gui.

    Like the user name. :D
