Don't know anything about this jersey bu Puma will still be our kit sponsors next season. They were never not going to be our kit providers for 13/14

From 14/15 our new kit supplier is BLKSport, and offshoot of Kooga (australia New Zealand) They do Fiji and samoa at the moment with a lot of the aussie super 15 gear. First up for them this side of the world is taking over from Rugbytech in Connacht for next season!

I thought the Sunday Business Post said it was between Nike and Adidas?

Made this a few months back, and still would love to see Ireland in Adidas.

Nice and simple, Jerseys are getting to busy these days.

If they offered a test version like the Lions I'd be happy with Adidas.

The normal replica jerseys which I have (two NZ and one Argentina), are ok but I wouldn't get excited about them.

Anyone know roughly when the new jersey will be available?

BLK seems like a pretty plausible option. They've a decent roster of Pacific-region teams, and if they were looking to expand then Ireland would be a good starting point - less of a cost than the likes of England or France (or indeed Wales).

Really hope Adidas get the gig, got close to it in 2009 but puma trumped them.

Yes. If you have a quick search on businesspost.ie and search "Ireland rugby adidas" the first article(February 10 2013), which cannot be opened without supscruption, has a headline of
"IRFU in talks with with Nike and Adidas on kit deal"

    with the blurb underneath reading
Rugby bosses are in talks with sports brands Nike and Adidas over a new sponsorship deal, which they expect to seal by the end of the summer.

Anyone have access to the full article?

I believe even if someone did, we aren't to post content that is behind a pay wall.

alot nicer than the last home effort anyway...

Ugh. Away one is not pretty. It has the potential always to be a fantastic jersey but they've made a balls of it.

Don't mind the home jersey. Quite nice. Not nice enough to fork out €80.

It's nice apart from the grip lines. Love how plain it is. The away one is gak.

Same as Buer above. Home one is alright. Away one, just no.

Reminds me of IronMan's chest plate, especailly with the O2 logo centred like that.

I like it more than the last home jersey. I hope its not made of the same rubbery material the last home jersey was made of...

Reminds me of a soccer jersey, more so. Although judgement will prob be better reserved till I see what it's like worn.

The away one looks almost like two cars parked alongside each other in opposite directions with the front wheels aligned (the O being the near front wheel). Yeah, I know that may not be the clearest of descriptions, but I'm not about to stage a picture to illustrate the point!

The emerging Ireland team are wearing it atm, it's a little soccery but not bad at all.

It's pricey considering its a one season jersey. Nice though. I think I'll hold out!

An improvement on the last one.

I'd consider buying it only for the ginormous 02.
I suppose I better be grateful MONEY isn't there

I think I'm going to hold out until either Nike or hopefully Adidas come along with a simple design and O2 are replaced as shirt sponsor (current deal goes to 2016). Not holding breath!

2015 WC jersey is probably the next opportunity
