    Hey all,

Am having my parents 40th wedding anniversary in Tuam in September and people coming from a few different places(Having it in the Ard Ri) - are there any good daytime sporting pubs to head to for a few beers? - IE showing the football/horse racing/GAA on the sunday etc...

Have never ever been out in Tuam even though have passed through the place virtually every 2nd weekend for the last 5 years.

    Any assistance much appreciated

    Brgds
    Johnny

The brogue just off the square has a good few tvs and always has a good selection of matches and racing on. Pints aren't the best though.

    Definitely The Brogue for matches.

Cheers lads will definitely give the Brogue a try - up home in Mayo in a couple of weeks so will pop in on the way up also for a few

I'd second The Bridge Bar. Can't beat the pints or the staff, Dave and the gang are very nice
