Losing Internet Connection

    Hi all,

    A month ago I purchased a Dell Inspiron 3721 laptop. When I am connected to the internet I keep losing connection and get a message stating "ERROR 21 (NET:ERR_NETWORK_CHANGED) A network change was detected. I don't think it is my modem as all my other internet devices (TV, BlueRay, phones) do not lose connection.

    Has anybody any ideas on how to fix this as it is impossible to download films, play poker etc..

    Sounds like a modem issue, Log onto to the modem and check your dhcp lease time, this is a problem with new UPC modems as its set for 60mins, reset it for a day or so.

    Thanks but getting the new "Horizon" box fitted on Tuesday so I will see if the problem still persists. If it does, is it handy enough to change the dhcp lapse time?
