    Is your friend on boards?

Maybe he read this thread: http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2056924505

    Although B-2s weren't mentioned there

No my friend isn't on here, he was asked to measure a section on the roof of the building we work in for an aerial to be installed as the ATC will be on the top floor.

I will find out more info on Tuesday.

Where exactly is your building? Perhaps Harbour Flights is finally getting the trial going...

They've had a couple of trials over the past few years into Dublin Port.

Maybe they're finally ready to go. Their business plan was to get up and running before 2011. A few hurdles stood in their way like having to get environmental impact studies ect. done.

September would be a bit late for them as they were ideally trying to hit the Cruise Ship market.

It will be a flypast for The Gathering. Allegedly, an A380 will be one of them, as will the usual suspects from Irish aviation, such as Lingus, Aer Arran, the Air Corps and so on.

It's great news to see the rumour materialising, the A380 over Dublin should be some sight.

Sometimes I envy your inside info on these things Stovepipe :)

    Hi there
No magic involved this time. I happened to bump into one of the people involved and he told me about it.

Rumour mentioned on the other thread say it will be on All Ireland Day......I would have thought The Gathering would have wanted to pick "their own day"?

Just heard on the Radio that Liberty Insurance have been announced as the Sponsors for All Ireland Hurling and Camogie for the next 5 years, does this change start now or next year and if so how will it affect the Rumoured Etihad Flyover?

    EDIT:
On the way home from work, they announced "1 of 3 Main Sponsors". So no major changes.
