    Hi folks,
    I am trying to research Shipwrecks of Tramore Bay, but there are websites with over 100+ and ones with less than 10.

    Example;
    http://www.irishwrecks.com/
    http://www.irishshipwrecks.com/

    What's the most accurate source for this information, would anybody know?

    Wrecksite.eu is very good. But my first call would be to the local diving club. For some of the deeper stuff, you could post your questions to technicaldiving.ie

    Both of those links are good. There is also http://www.irishwrecksonline.net/ which I like.

    Try the local lighthouse, maybe get a contact from CIL, could be some older fellas still in the area with good stories.

    Edward Bourke has 3 books out, with shipwreck lists for each county.

    INFOMAR brought out a brilliant book last year, and their website has an online viewer with wrecks, but its not massively exhaustive just yet.

    Lastly, take a subscription with irish newpsaper articles, stick in "tramore" <and> "wrecks" and see what happens. Ive had massive success with this. Brilliant site well worth the subscription.

    There also is about 100 years of Lloyds Lists online here if you have a ship's name or date to work from - http://catalog.hathitrust.org/Record/000549597
