Painting Block Walls of Garage?

I got an extension done on the house a few years ago but hadnt got enough funds left to get the garage at the back of the house fully converted and the exterior plastered. One of the walls (the one facing the back of the house is plastered with white cement).

My daughters communion is coming up in a few weeks and I'm trying to tidy up the back garden on a budget? Would it be ok to paint the remaining 3 block walls of the garage the same colour as the other one is plastered and then I could plaster over it in a few years when I have the cash. Also whats the best paint to use for suck a job.

    Any suggestions appreciated.
